Josefina Lopez is best known for writing Real Women Have Curves the Sundance Award winning film by HBO. She recently started doing stand up comedy, but before that she was writing and performing sketch comedy with a women´s comedy trio called P.M.S. (the Pinche Mentirosa Sisters) and with Culture Clash comedy show on Fox. Her recent credits include playing a pimp in the Webisode series Police Chicks and an Exorcist in the film Fifty One Fifty. Josefina is also a theater and film producer with two feature films to her credit and over 10 years of theater productions under her belt. She is the founder and Artistic Director of Casa 0101 Theater in Boyle Heights. She is also a motivational speaker and has lectured at over 200 colleges and universities and High Schools. Josefina has an MFA from UCLA and a Diploma in Cuisine from Le Cordon Bleu, Paris.
