Comedian Samuel J Comroe Has 99 Problems
But a Twitch Ain’t One

Burbank, CA – Samuel J. Comroe, as seen on Conan and Real Husbands of Hollywood, will be headlining at Flappers Comedy Club and Restaurant on July 19^th and 20^th at 8 & 10pm, tickets $20.00.  Born with the “twitchy” kind of Tourette’s syndrome, Sam used humor to disarm the bullies who bothered him at school.  Over the years, he honed his struggles with Tourette’s into a hysterical and inspirational show that has resonated with audiences in clubs and colleges across the country.  After being hand-selected by Ricky Gervais as the winner of the Just Sayin Comedy Contest in 2012, Sam made his national television debut on the Conan show later that year.

Flappers Comedy LLC is operated by a group of people who are passionate about comedy.  Proprietors, Barbara Holliday and Dave Reinitz, operate the Flappers Comedy Club in Burbank, which features 4 Stages and a Full Restaurant and Bar with a 1920’s theme and is “Still Celebrating the Repeal of Prohibition." The club also has a smaller showroom, “The Yoo Hoo Room” which has 60 seats; they also have a BAR and Patio where you can hang out and eat and drink before, during and after shows.

“Thank you for helping to create a stellar birthday experience for Isabella!  She had such a fantastic time, I am sure she will remember it for years to come!  Everything was great, you and your staff are lovely people! Everyone was so nice & very accommodating!  The girls were talking about how much fun the party was at school all week!  Definitely have suggested Flappers to other parents.  We are still eating cake, it's so delicious, thankfully it freezes well! My only suggestions would be to get the cake measurements from the Baker since their full sheet is quite a bit larger than other bakers, and for the price point I think they could have added more strawberries to the filling. But, none the less, it was still a very flavorful cake.

“I received your feedback form yesterday and want to take advantage of the opportunity to let you know what a great time we had Saturday.  Ian’s birthday was fabulous, thanks to Flappers!  I don’t know how to fill out the form on-line but I would give every item a ten.  Kids loved the show…all three performers were outstanding.   Michael put together a great Starwars video piece that was perfect for keeping the boys entertained before the show.  The woman comedian (I can’t remember names) was wonderful………and after the show she came to say hi and presented Ian with a wonderful birthday present actually created herself at home before the show!  The kids loved the magician too and he was also great about making a big deal out of the birthday.   The music and sound effects throughout the show also added fun energy!  Our waitress was very sweet, organized, and efficient as well!  We would for sure do another event.  It was a perfect setting for my 12 year old son and his friends…..not at all babyish!  We bought Michael’s video and my kids rushed home to watch it the same night!  Thanks so much for everything!!!!”

Dear Flappers Staff,  I want to thank all of you for the a great time last night.  My self, including our party of 11 people were treated as VIP's.  We all can't say enough about the excellent food, martinis to die for, served by great and personalble wait staff (Alana).  If that wasn't enough...the comedy show transported us to the "destress zone" with all the laughing. Hey comedians here's your chance to work on a few new jokes in our comedy lab and get some instant feedback from other comedians.  Each person  performs several minutes of Stand up in front of other comedians and after the set is finished, they will get instant feedback from the entire audience.  This is a great supplement to our Flappers unievrsity Classes.   There is no admission charge for this lab, but please bring your sense of humor, jokes, thirst and your appetite because our Full Flappers Food and Beverage Menu is available for you to partake.   Stage Time depends on the amount of comedians who show up.  No pre-reservation required, just come on down to Flappers Comedy Club Burbank 102 E.
