WHAT IS IT? PRETTY, FUNNY WOMEN is the longest running, all female stand-up comedy show in the country. Created in 1996, PFW is run, booked & hosted by comedienne & writer LISA SUNDSTEDT (aka The Heidi Fleiss of Comedy). PFW has been running strong in several venues for over 12 years including The Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas, The Comedy Stop at the Trop in Atlantic City, The La Jolla Comedy Store, The Commerce Casino and currently plays every month at the World Famous Hollywood Improv. It features a different line up each show with a roster of over thirty seasoned comics who can be seen regularly on network television series, national commercials, hit sitcoms, Comedy Central Specials & The Tonight Show w Jay Leno. Some of the women who have been featured in PFW over the past decade are Sarah Silverman, Chelsea Handler, Sherri Shepherd, Margaret Cho & Aisha Tyler. All the comics from Lisa´s roster are hip, sexy, fun and hysterical! Stand up comedy has never looked so good.
WHAT MAKES IT UNIQUE? Individually, these comics work colleges and clubs across the country. PFW features an amazing line up of five of these women doing their BEST 20 minutes. The tone of the show is sexy, irreverent, & smart. These comics are pros who have been working with each other for years. The chemistry between Lisa, the comics & the audience is unlike any other show out there.
WHO ARE THE FANS? Women love it because it´s smart, honest, hysterical and relatable. Young boys love it because it´s sexy. Men love it because it´s genuinely funny. Angel Laketa Moore was born in Baltimore, Md, raised in Kentucky and is the youngest of four girls. The acting bug hit Angel very young, so she begin acting in plays in school and at church by the age of 7. After high school, she attended the University of Kentucky, where she received a bachelors of arts in theater. Then she went on to get her master of fine arts degree in acting from the University of California, Irvine. Then in 2006 she moved up to Los Angeles, and began working immediately on the hit tv show ER for three seasons. Angel started doing stand up January of 2010 and is loving every minute of it. She is currently living in Los Angeles with her wonderful husband Marcus I and her adorable 1 year old son Marcus II. BOOK

Aimee McKay began doing comedy while living in London, England where she sold used American vacuum cleaners over the phone to pay for classes. A graduate of Emerson College, she spent three years touring with the Second City Touring Company where she performed sketch and improv everywhere from Washington State to Vienna, Austria. You can find her on TV and film in Arrested Development, Raising Hope, The Neighbors, Don´t Trust the B– in Apt. 23 and the upcoming film, Circle. Some of her theatre credits include TheatreSports (ImprovBoston), Micetro, The Dirty Half Dozen and Pocket Full of Tales. Aimee is wicked proud of the two-woman sketch and mask show Two-Faced which was part of the Second City Unhinged series.
