Jerry Rocha is one of the hottest comics on the scene, constantly on tour and leaving a trail of busted guts and broken hearts in his wake. Well not really, but he has been a featured performer on SiTV, The Latino Laugh Festival, was the subject of a half-hour documentary on the Travel Channel, and was a Semi-Finalist on Season 7 of Last Comic Standing on NBC. He has worked at comedy clubs all over the country, and is now living in L.A., if that doesn´t work out, he´ll move back in with his Mom in Texas. His routine is all over the map, and he is able to make light of any subject, making people laugh at things they normally wouldn´t, and also making them laugh at the easiest target: himself.
Comedian Emilio Rossal PODKWARD PODCAST, TIM & ERIC'S AWESOME SHOW, GENERAL HOSPITAL
Emilio Rossal, host of weekly comedy podcast, Podkward, is about as close to a Los Angeles native as they come in "the biz" (which is what folks in "the biz" call "show business"). Born in Guatemala and raised in the mean streets of the San Fernando Valley, Emilio has years of experience in improv, having trained at the famed Groundlings and Upright Citizens Brigade theatres, and performed in a plethora of improv shows around town. After appearing in several national commercials for McDonald´s, Chevy, and Bank of America, to name a few, he decided 2013 was the year he´d finally take a crack at stand-up. God help us all. You may have also seen him on Tim & Eric´s Awesome Show as "Guy with Awkwardly Long Close-up" and General Hospital as "Wussy Cab Driver." But probably not. WEBSITE | | BOOK
Comedian Darrell La Montre CO-HOST OF BRET ERNST POD, SHOWTIME PILOT, LAUGH FACTORY, IMPROV, ICE HOUSE
Darrell La Montre is an L.A. native who has been performing comedy since '96. His original brand of humor is best characterized as sardonic, edgy, and thought provoking. No one is exempt from being the recipient of his venom (not even himself).
His ability to recognize patterns among human behavior and deliver his observations in an intelligent and humorous manner is top notch. Darrell doesn't typically interact much with the audience, preferring instead to launch into one scathing, hilarious bit after another attacking diverse subjects such as: the homeless, L.A. actors, slow supermarket checkers, and Mexican valet parkers.
