Brandon has been seen performing all over the country, winning crowds over with his sincere, unique perspective on life. He was living in New York performing at The Comic Strip, Gotham, Standup NY, and other venues throughout the city. He spent a short time in Utah opening for Bengt Washburn, before moving out to LA to continue pursuing his dream. He has also appeared on MTV's Girlcode as well as the popular web series Mansome.
CLAREMONT AUNTIE CLARES COMEDY CONTEST - is a branch of the original Uncle Clydes Comedy Contest -- LA's Longest Running Comedy Contest -- and YOU pick the winners!
There are 7 preliminary rounds. In each preliminary round, 10 comics perform a five-minute set. A special guest performer or group is invited to perform at "Half Time" and at "Math Time" (the end of the show while the votes are being tallied).
The 1st Place Winner receives $101 cash prize, 2nd Place receives a $50 gift card from Flappers Comedy Club or from another location, and 3rd Place gets a Auntie Clares traditional Wings. The top two finishers will be invited to perform in the Soup-Or-Bowl finals. Each Soup-Or-Bowl Audience Vote winner will receive $500.00 cash, Second Place wins a $50 gift card, and Third place wins a huge basket of wings. Additionally, our Industry Judges Vote will receive a Professional Gig at Flappers Comedy Club and Restaurant. (As an added feature to the contest, Flappers will be adding an online voting component via Facebook (TBD). **The producers reserve the right to manage contestants in any way possible or to control placement of contestants in any and all ways possible.**
The Top Two finishers from each Soup-Or-Bowl Finals, (as well as the online winner and/or judges wildcard winner - TBD), will be invited back at the end of the year to participate in Clares Playoff Week --a run of 3 shows held at Flappers Claremont Comedy Club Main Room in December 2016. First Place in each playoff round will win $101, second place will win a $50 gift card, and third place will win a giant side of fries. The Top Three performers from each playoff round will be invited to perform in The Clare´s Cup to be held on Jan 12th 2017 at 8pm in which ONE winner will win the title of Clare's Cup, their name on a huge Trophy, along with a $2000 Cash Grand Prize, a professional gig at Flappers Comedy Club and Restaurant. We have Celebrity Judges lined up from Comedy Central, Princess Cruises, Flappers Comedy Club, Comedy Festivals, MySpace Comedy, National Lampoon, and many more. Comedian Robert Orry FLAPPERS, CLAREMONT, JOKERS COMEDY CLUB, FUBARS, PUNCHLINE, TOWN HALL PRODUCTIONS
Known as, The Man of 101 Voices, Robert Orry originated from the Bay Area, performing as a stand up comedian and MC in the early ´90´s.
He opened for comedians such as Judy Gold, Greg Proops and Larry Miller, through well known clubs including Punchline, Fubars, Tommy-T´s, Holy City Zoo, Cadillac Ranch and Jokers Comedy Club. By the mid ´90s, Robert branched out and became a cast member of Bay Area Theater Sports, Living Improv and Town Hall Productions, a traveling improv and Murder Mystery Dinner, writing, directing and performing for over 10 years, in shows throughout Northern California and Nevada. Robert returned too stand-up and voice-over after relocating to Southern California. He has performed numerous showcases at Flappers in Claremont, California and can be seen in Los Angeles at various clubs. BOOK
