Felipe Esparza is best known for his raw, real life comedy that all audiences can relate to. He is also known for his wild hair and his often imitated phrase, "What's up, fool?" Many people are surprised to find out that Esparza is the same person referred to, and imitated, in several onstage stories by fellow comedian, Gabriel Iglesias.
Esparza is a product of the streets of East Los Angeles, Boyle Heights, to be exact. There is no subject that Esparza can't make fun of. He could stand on a stage without a single joke and make people laugh, but that won't happen. Esparza is one of the best comedy writers in the business. Give him a Tootsie Roll and he will write a five minute, gut-busting routine about it. That's the talent this young comic possesses.
