Bill Word began producing California's Funniest Female Contest (CFFC) in 2003. What began as a vehicle to promote and nurture women in comedy has grown to an international standup comedy competition which has had females traveling as far Ireland and Australia to compete. The list of comedic competitors have television credits which include NBC´s Last Comic Standing, Comedy Central, The Tonight Show, "Nick at Nite's Funniest Mom in America" and Oprah!
