Comedian Scott Shimamoto FLAPPERS, COMEDY STORE MAIN ROOM, HAHA CAFE, IMPROV - IRVINE AND ONTAR, FLAPPERS
Scott Shimamoto grew up an outcast and popular kid at the same time. A product of Schurr High School in Montebello, California, Shimamoto continued his education at the University of Southern California.
Shimamoto credits his Latino friends for helping him talk smack on stage. "I grew up with a bunch of Mexican people that treated talking smack as a competitive sport. I quickly learned to dish out and take verbal abuse without taking it personally."
Shimamoto also produces many charity fundraiser comedy shows. They have benefited the American Cancer Society , YMCA, Rebuilding Together, and many others.
Shimamoto recently opened for Tommy Davidson at ACASA´s (Academy of Comedy Arts & Sciences Associated International) inaugural fundraising comedy show at Flapper´s in Burbank, California.
