Veteran entertainment journalist Greg Reifsteck wrote Variety´s "Ten Comedians to Watch" article that put Dane Cook on the map. Now, the former entertainment journalist is soon destined to be on that list. Inspired by Steve Martin, he was born a bored Midwestern child. The movie theater was his babysitter growing up, so the self-proclaimed movie maniac wanted to be the next Roger Ebert. His cinematic tales about his wild Chicago upbringing, his nightmare dating life and some dark inspirational stories about his father´s death make his brand of comedy shameless, silly and shocking. He has performed at Hollywood´s Improv and The Comedy Store, the Ice House, as well as Zanies and Pressure Comedy Café in Chicago. He has Bachelor´s degrees in journalism and filmmaking from Columbia College Chicago and has done improv with Upright Citizen´s Brigade.
