Born in Nebraska, and now living in North Hollywood, CA, Loren Berthelsen is living proof that you can take the boy off the farm and farm out of the boy.
Gay since conception, Loren offers up hilarious reflections on growing up gay in the heartland and on being gay in the big gay city of LA. His hilarious observations on the intersection of hetero and homo explore unexpected avenues of comedy and he delivers it all with a mischievous grin and a twist of irony.
Loren passed the mid-century mark a couple of years ago and is pleased to report that life actually does get easier, cause you just care less. He spends his time rooting for comedic gems in gay life after 50, gay marriage, and being the token gay comic.
Loren´s dream is to be a full time comic/writer...and to pay his bills. We´ll see!
