Shanon is the daughter of Jamaican immigrants who hails from the mean streets of Bellingham, Massachusetts. Her first foray into comedy began when she wrote her first soap opera in the sixth grade (It was way more funny than dramatic!). Shanon has trained and written sketch comedy for the main stage shows at the iO West Theater, as well as recently finished the CBS Writers´ Mentoring Fellowship. She is a writer, comic and fun loving black chick who digs sequins.
