Dakota grew up in Anchorage Alaska. After graduating with a degree in business he decided to try his hand at comedy. He began working and building the local comedy scene in Anchorage where he founded his own open mic at the world famous Chilkoot Charlies. There he had the opportunity to open for names like Brendan Walsh, Jesse Joyce, Yoursie Thomas, Geno Pisconte, Jodi Miller, Marc Ryan, Flip Schultz, Dwight Slade, and Billy Wayne Davis. After nearly a year of comedy in Anchorage, Dakota moved to LA to continue growing his comedy career. Today you can see him regularly at Flappers, The Comedy Store, and The Haha Cafe.
