Erik Carr has been impersonating celebrities and characters since age 10. After placing fourth in his junior high school talent show in 2000, he earned the nickname "Regis," which stuck with him throughout high school. From 2000 to 2010, he did a handful of live performances but it wasn't until last month that he performed competitively again. In Cal Poly Pomona's first-ever talent show, Carr placed third out of 13 finalists and gained a new group of fans in the process. Formerly an architecture student, Carr is in the midst of his final year at Cal Poly Pomona as a communication journalism student and is the sports editor of "The Poly Post," the school newspaper. After graduation, Carr hopes to devote more time to his Christian faith while balancing a career in media and in comedy. Carr´s hobbies include: politics, watching movies, filmmaking, writing and playing sports, traveling and trivia.
