Marla Phillips is an actor and writer. Originally from New York, Marla grew up in a show business family where she personally witnessed the Golden age of Broadway.
In the 1980´s Marla performed with several improvisational groups in the Los Angeles area which led her into interactive theatre. It was there that she started creating, developing and writing for her own characters. This was followed with a brief bout of stand-up comedy that she wrote & showcased at The Comedy Store. It was also at the Comedy Store that she first captured the spirit of the legendary Mae West when she was cast to work with director Blake Edwards in the film Sunset. . She Represented Mae West again at Universal Studios, posing and bantering with guests.
Marla is a long standing player in the talent pool at Brain Brew Entertainment. Currently she is playing the part of Playwright.
