Monica Piper is an Emmy Award winning comedy writer and stand up. As a comedy club headliner and regular at The Improv and Ice House, she became one of Showtime Network´s "Comedy All Stars," followed by her own Showtime Comedy Special, "No, Monica, Just You." She was nominated for an American Comedy Award as one of the top five female comedians in the country. Monica has opened for Gloria Estefan, Jerry Seinfeld, Neil Sedaka and the Smothers Brothers. Monica was recruited by Ms. Barr to write on Roseanne. She went on to write for sit-coms Mad About You and Veronica´s Closet. Monica became the head writer of the #1 children´s animated series, Rugrats.
Monica has returned to her love of stand up. In addition to comedy clubs, she´s the headliner at national corporate events. Her most recent performance was for the City of Hope´s annual fundraiser.
