Nick Cokas began stand up comedy in Boston in 1986. Since then, due to life changes ("No, I´m still a man."), Nick took some time off from doing stand up. Nick´s first paid gig in ´86 was booked by Barry Katz who created "Last Comic Standing." In the ´90s Nick was a Finalist in the Stitches Boston Comedy Riot along with Bill Burr, Al Del Bene, and Robert (he was Bobby then) Kelly. However, Nick did win the Coors Light Comedy Search in NH sponsored by Catch a Rising Star. Later, Nick was invited to the Seattle Comedy Competition along with Tom Cotter who is now a finalist on America´s Got Talent. In 1995, Nick moved to LA for comedy. Now, in 2012, after ten years teaching students who received special education services, a Masters Degree, marriage, and kids, Nick is back doing stand up!
