John hails from the vast, reachless swamps of South Louisiana, where he honed his comedic craft on what passes for a stage down there: a clearing in a field, illuminated by headlights.
As a child, John would sneak into his older sister´s room while she was away to catch late-night syndicated comedy on Fox, absorbing the various styles of dozens of faceless comics who came and went during the 80´s comedy boom. Late into the night the young boy would sit, enraptured by these men and their bold tales of airline food and male-pattern baldness (he was a weird kid). From there, he decided he would follow in their footsteps: John would spend his life standing in front of brick walls, spouting inane crap at strangers in a desperate bid for acceptance. The American Dream!
