Michele was born in Eastern Kentucky and had lived though out the south. Moving to Los Angeles eighteen years ago, she began her Hollywood career as a make-up artist .
A chance encounter brought her to the world of home shopping where she spent several years selling jewelry and gemstones.
She is currently an entertainment reporter for The Weekend Today Show, NINE Network Australia
